Inclusive Economy update

We’ve been doing some work with Patrick from Inclusive Economy so when he sent this email through to me last week I got highly excited, as you do. So I wanted to share the opportunities contained within to as many people as possible including the most awesome Jelly group. So here it is copied almost word for word.

First up, we’ve got a #ProjectPitch event on at Chamber 36 restaurant, Berry Street, Liverpool. It’s a chance to pitch against three others in a competition for up to £250 startup funding for your new project. Apply for funding by completing this application form online ( https://liverpoolsoup.typeform.com/to/qxnHFV ). It’s also a great networking opportunity, and Chamber 36 put some great nibbles on too. Come along and make a donation to the funding pot that the competition winners get. Tell us you’re coming by booking on here – https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/projectpitch-start-up-funding-available-tickets-42718823150.
Secondly, a week on Friday, we’re running a one-off workshop showing you which of the multitude of free planning and productive apps is the best for you and your business. The folks at Merseyside Digital are presenting an afternoon session for free to help you get the most out of your time. Book your place here – https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/an-introduction-to-crm-software-tickets-41839839085.
Starting on 5th March, we’re running the first of our Build A Future project planning courses – six sessions run over three weeks in a central Liverpool venue, all designed explicitly for those who want to start a new project, a new business or just want to get more organised. Complete the short application here – https://buildafuture.typeform.com/to/FugwUY – and you’ll be on the first step towards turning your bright idea into reality. We want as many people as possible to benefit from this while you can, so if you think this might be for you, sign up, and also tell anyone you think might benefit.
Our friends over at the ethical entrepreneurship magazine Ethos (we have an ad in their next issue!) are celebrating their first birthday in print. And to celebrate, they’ve got a great offer on for their back issues. Order now, and you can get issues two, three and four for just £3 plus P&P each while stocks last. Buy here – https://ethos-magazine.myshopify.com/products/issues-2-3-4-bundle.
Lastly, we’re just starting to plan how best to publicise some of the great work people are doing in the Liverpool City Region business and social sectors, and how we can influence that to be tilted towards people excluded from the majority of economic activity. If you’ve got any ideas on what we should be looking at, or who we should be speaking to, get in touch! <<<<- with Patrick not us
